Kargil, 11 March 2026/ VOL News Desk/ Despite continuous rain and light snowfall in Sankoo Suru of Kargil, the martyrdom anniversary of Hazrat Imam Ali (A.S), which coincides with the 21st of Ramadan, was solemnly observed in the Sankoo Sub Division of Kargil in UT Ladakh.

In Sankoo, special prayers were held throughout the night in various villages, where locals gathered to pray for prosperity and communal harmony.

These prayers were conducted in a peaceful and solemn atmosphere, allowing the community to reflect on Harzat -E Imam Ali(A.s) immense contributions to Islam.

An impressive religious procession was organized by Anjuman-E-Sahib Zaman Kargil and Markaz-e-Tabligat Imam Reza at Sankoo.

Where in Thousands of mourners, dressed in black, participated in the procession, chanting lamentations and beating their chests in remembrance of Imam Ali’s martyrdom. The procession prominently featured the Alam-e-Hussaini and various banners, symbolizing the sacrifices made by Imam Ali.

Addressing the gathering religious Scholar’s
highlighted on Harzat -E-Imam Ali’s (A.s)exemplary life and teachings of justice, equality, and loyalty during the event.

Additionally, the martyrdom of Hazrat Imam Ali (A.S) was observed in various other areas, including Anjuman-E-Inqelab Mehdi Kargil, Tai Suru, Parkachik, Purtikchay, Thangboo, Kargee, Tangole, Barsoo, Sangrah, TSG Trespone, GMpore, Tambis, Saleskote, and Lankerchey.
