DC Drass and Director UIDAI discuss Aadhaar-related issues of Drass
Drass, August 24, 2026/ VOL News Desk/ A meeting was held in DC Office Drass today between Deputy Commissioner Imteeaz Kacho and the visiting Director of Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI), Jagdish Kumar. During the meeting, various initiatives and activities of UIDAI were discussed along with the need for support to the newly created Drass District. While seeking UDAI’s backing, the Deputy Commissioner requested for necessary cooperation for strengthening Aadhaar-related services in the District.
The Director threw light on issues related to pendency of Mandatory Biometric Updates (MBU) in Drass. The Deputy Commissioner assured that all necessary support would be extended early action.
In addition, Child Enrolment, Offline Verification Seeking Entity(OVSE), Aadhaar enrolment and verification of residents in the 18+ age category and verification of residents in the 100+ age category age were also discussed during the course of the meeting.
