𝐋𝐞𝐡, 𝐃𝐞𝐜𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟎𝟔,𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟒: Bhupesh Chaudhary, Administrative Secretary of the Cooperative Department, UT Ladakh, chaired an introductory and review meeting of the Cooperative Department today. The meeting aimed to provide a comprehensive overview of the department.The session began with a detailed presentation by Sajjad Qadri, Additional Registrar Cooperative Department,UT Ladakh who highlighted the department’s core functions, including its regulatory role and various cooperative acts. The presentation further covered the diverse activities and services rendered by the department through multiple cooperative societies, with a focus on consumer cooperatives, dairy cooperatives, and other significant societies.Qadri also outlined the key schemes approved for the financial year 2024-25, along with an update on the department’s infrastructure and the development of a cooperative database, aimed at enhancing operational efficiency. The discussion included future strategies for the betterment and expansion of cooperative societies across the region.During the meeting, Secretary Bhupesh Chaudhary underscored the need for continuous improvement within the department. He emphasized the importance of standardization, effective management practices, and the promotion of quality branding for cooperative societies.During the meeting, Secretary Bhupesh Chaudhary highlighted that all the department’s activities and initiatives are focused on benefiting the people of Ladakh.
