KARGIL, OCTOBER 18, 2021: In view of the improved COVID-19 situation in the District Kargil, Deputy Commissioner and CEO Kargil Santosh Sukhadeve ordered to open all the Government and Private Primary Schools in District Kargil.

The order issued by the DM Kargil office undersigned by the Additional Deputy Commissioner maintained that all government/ private primary schools are hereby allowed to open for academic classes with immediate effect.

The concerned Head of the Schools shall ensure that COVID-19 SOP’s and guidelines of preventive measures are followed strictly.

The guidelines /SOPs issued vide No 28 DMK of 2021 dated 01/08/2021 shall remain in force. Any violation of these orders shall invite action under section 188 of IPC, Disaster Management Act. 2005 and Epidemic Diseases Act. 1897, the order maintained.
