Leh, 07 July 2026/ VOL News Desk/ The District Institute of Education and Training (DIET), Leh successfully conducting, a six-day workshop from 6 July to 11 July 2026 for the reframing of Bhoti Textbooks for Classes Ill onwards.
The workshop was organized in compliance with the directions of the Secretary, School Education Department, UT of Ladakh, issued during the launch of the Bhoti Textbooks up to Class Il on 5th December 2025, in the presence of the Director, School Education Department, UT of Ladakh, and the Chief Education Officer, Leh.
The Bhoti Textbook Core Committee, comprising experienced academicians, subject experts, and teachers, reviewed, revised, and finalized the draft textbooks through detailed discussions and collaborative planning.
The workshop focused on developing learner-centred, culturally relevant, and pedagogically sound textbooks aligned with the objectives of NEP 2020 and the National Curriculum Framework (NCF).
The Principal, DIET Leh appreciated the valuable support of the Chief Education Officer, Leh, and the dedicated efforts of all committee members in strengthening Bhoti language education in the Union Territory of Ladakh.
