Javeed’s inclusion in the national coaching squad marks a significant milestone—not just for him personally, but for the entire Ladakhi sports community. He will be joining the National Coaching Camp at SAI NSSC, Bengaluru, from April 25 to May 26, 2025, to prepare for the prestigious international event.

Trained at the Netaji Subhas National Institute of Sports (NSNIS) and certified by the International Volleyball Federation (FIVB), Javeed has dedicated years of hard work to excel in his field. He also runs a Volleyball Academy in Kargil, which he has been operating for the last two years, nurturing young talent and promoting sports culture in the region.

His journey from the remote village of Latoo to the national coaching team serves as an inspiration to aspiring athletes and coaches from Ladakh and beyond.

In a telephonic conversation, Javeed said, “This is a proud moment for me, my family, and the people of Ladakh. I hope my journey motivates the youth of our region to aim high, work hard, and believe in themselves. If the Vice Chancellor, University of Ladakh, grants me permission to join the National Coaching Camp, I believe it will be a great step for my future. I dedicate this historic achievement to the University of Ladakh, which has always been supportive throughout my journey.”

Local sports bodies, university officials, and community leaders have widely lauded Javeed’s achievement. It not only reflects his personal dedication and excellence but also showcases the emergence of Ladakh on the national and international sporting map.

Congratulations to Mohammad Javeed and his family on this proud moment. Best of luck for the upcoming coaching camp and international assignment
