Leh,16th November 2024: Chairman/CEC, LAHDC Adv. Tashi Gyalson, today handed over a vehicle to SNM Hospital, Leh, aimed at supporting doctor’s emergency services.

The vehicle will be used for the pick-up and drop-off of doctor’s during late hours, addressing emergency medical services. This move is expected to enhance the efficiency of healthcare delivery, especially in urgent cases that require immediate attention.

This vehicle, which has been a long-pending demand from the doctor’s, finally materialize with the support from LAHDC Leh.

In addition to the vehicle handover, a meeting was held to discuss several grievances raised by doctors concerning their working conditions. CEC Gyalson assured the healthcare professionals that a follow-up meeting will be convened on the 19th of November to address these issues.

The Doctors fraternity extended gratitude to CEC Tashi Gyalson and DC/CEO Santosh Sukhadev ,LAHDC Leh for their support.

Present at the meeting were Chief Planning Officer (CPO) Tsewang Gyalson, Director of Health Dr.Tashi Thinles; Medical Superintendent Rinchen Chosdol, Senior Doctor’s and various other doctors from different departments.
