VoL Desk, Dec. 14: In a heartfelt message, the Border Roads Organisation (BRO) has mourned the loss of Spr Mahesh N Wali of 13 BRTF (7 Engr Regt), who made the ultimate sacrifice on December 14, 2024.

He was operating a 20-ton rock breaker on the strategic Nimmu-Padum-Darcha Road in Ladakh when the tragic incident occurred.

Spr Wali’s bravery and dedication in the harsh terrain of the third axis to Leh, where temperatures plummeted to -20°C, stand as a testament to his unwavering commitment to duty. His sacrifice will be etched in the annals of BRO’s history, inspiring generations to come.

The BRO extended heartfelt condolences to his bereaved family, saluting his courage and devotion.
