Kargil, Nov 26, 2024: Deputy Commissioner/CEO, LAHDC, Kargil, Shrikant Balasaheb Suse today presided over the oath ceremony and read out the Preamble of the Constitution on the National Constitution Day or Samvidhan Diwas observed in Kargil.Chief Planning Officer (CPO), Abdul Hadi; ASP Mujeeb Ur Rehman; CMO Kargil, Dr Liyaqat Ali Khan; ACD, Raziya Khatoon; ACR/District Social Welfare Officer, Abdul Majeed Tantray; CDPO Sankoo, Agha Jamal, District officers also took part in the oath ceremony at District Headquarter Kargil.Constitution Day commemorates the adoption of the Constitution of India. On November 26, 1949, the Constituent Assembly of India had adopted the Constitution and it came into effect on January 26, 1950.DC Kargil urged upon all officers/officials to maintain a sense of brotherhood, achieve the idea of social, economic and political justice, liberty of thought and expression, equality among all and element of fraternity as enshrined in the preamble of our Constitution.On the occasion, the Deputy Commissioner said that this day motivates all to connect with the spirit of the Constitution and understand the rights and duties as a citizen.The district officers reiterated the resolve of the nation to constitute India into a Sovereign, Socialist, Secular and Democratic Republic nation.
