BJP Candidate Tashi Gyalson calls upon JUIAK President Sheikh Nazir
VoL Desk, May 13: For the Parliamentary election in Ladakh the process of campaigning is going on for which the BJP candidate from Ladakh, Advocate Tashi Gyalson reached in Kargil district today. During his first visit in Kargil town, he met with the President Jamiat Ulema Isna Ashriya Kargil (JUIAK), Shiekh Nasir Mehdi.
While addressing to media after the meeting, he said that he met with President JUIAK to take his blessings. He further said that during the campaigning he will emphasis on the four-point agenda of Ladakh. His priority will be to bring a resolution on the four-point agenda which is for the interest of Ladakh.
Before his visit to Kargil town visited Zanskar subdivision and Tai-Suru Block. During his campaigning to Zanskar he was accompanied by Union minister Kiran Rijiju. At Zanskar he promised that upon becoming the Member of Parliament he will work for the safeguard of Ladakh and promised for granting district status to Zanskar and Nubra with in the period of 100 days tenure after becoming MP. He stated that if he fails to grant district status, he will submit his resignation as MP Ladakh.

In his tour to Tai-Suru block, the BJP candidate Tashi Gyalson blamed LAHDC Kargil for not working upon the developmental projects like Panikhar –Phlagam road. He said that upon such projects on an around 300 crore rupees will be spent. This project will not only change the picture of Suru but of the whole Kargil District. Blaming at LAHDC Kargil he said that such projects are under the ambit of Council, but the council has not explored them yet.
He said that in the current election manifesto the BJP has included Panikhar –Phlagam road project and if they win will work on it.
