Kargil, Feb 07: Chairman/Chief Executive Councillor, LAHDC, Kargil, Dr Mohd Jaffer Akhoon visited PHC Shargole to assess the functioning of the hospital and healthcare services provided to the patients.

During the visit, the CEC took a detailed assessment of the functioning of the hospital and visited different sections of the PHC.

He also interacted with the patients and asked about their health and well-being. Dr Jaffer also enquired about the health services being provided to them.

The CEC congratulated the BMO and his team for getting State Certification under National Quality Assurance Standards (NQAS) by NHM for the year 2023-24. He advised them to continue the good work and provide hassle-free health care services to the people.

Executive Councillor Tourism, Kacho Mohd Feroz, Executive Councillor, Education, Zakir Hussain and Councillor Shargole Constituency Mohd Jawad accompanied the CEC during the visit.
