Kargil, Nov 03, 2023: The two-day GST Awareness Programme organized by the State Taxes Department UT Ladakh on TDS concluded today at Auditorium Hall, Kargil.

On the second day, various representatives from Merchant Association, Contractor Association, All Kargil Trade and Travel Association, Timber Merchant Association, Chemist and Druggist Association and members from Taxi and Bus Operators Union Kargil participated in the awareness program. 

Stanzin Sherab and K. Isfindiyar Khan, Inspectors State Tax Department gave a detailed presentation on GST, including registration, return filing, ITC, E-Way bill and compliance procedures.

Later, a doubt-clearing session was also held in which Mohmmad Yousuf, State Taxes Officer, Kargil and Zulfikar Ali, Inspector, replied to the queries raised by the participants.

The event concluded with the vote of thanks by Assistant Commissioner, State Taxes UT Ladakh, Fesal Iqbal Tantray. The overall programme was managed by Javeed Iqbal, Inspector, Kargil.
