Nyoma, May 5, 2026/ VOL News Desk/ The Deputy Commissioner Changthang Mr. Nitish Rajora, IAS today led a plantation drive in collaboration with the Department of Forest Ecology and Environment under the theme “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam.”

The programme was organized to promote environmental conservation and enhance green cover in the region. The drive was carried out under the theme “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam,” encouraging people to plant trees in honor of their mothers.Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Nyoma, Kacho Asgar Ali, Range Officer, Tsering Dadul along with various staff members, actively participated in the plantation drive.

The initiative aims to raise awareness about the importance of trees and inspire individuals to contribute towards a greener and healthier environment.
