Kargil, 21st July 2025 – A Passport Van Camp commenced today in Kargil, organized by Regional Passport Office in collaboration with the Haj Committee of UT Ladakh and District Administration, Kargil. The camp will run from 21st to 25th July 2025, aiming to facilitate passport-related services for local residents.

A total of 250 appointments are scheduled over the five-day period, with 50 appointments to process on daily basis.

The camp was inaugurated by the Hon’ble Chairperson of Haj Committee UT Ladakh, Mohd Ali Majaz, in the presence of local dignitaries and community members. Traditional Khatak was offered to the Passport Camp Team, including Mr. Ayoub and Mr. Hilal, as a gesture of respect and welcome.

This initiative aims to streamline passport services for Haj aspirants and general citizens in the remote region, ensuring better accessibility and convenience.
