LEH, DEC. 19: The Director along with the Assistant Director of the Tourism Department, Ladakh, along with stakeholders from the tourism sector, participated in the 37th IATO Annual Convention held at Lucknow on Sunday.

During the convention, the Secretary, of the Ministry of Tourism, GOI, Arvind Singh visited the stall of Ladakh Tourism and appreciated the efforts made by the UT govt for the promotion of tourism activities in Ladakh.

Director Tourism, Kunzes Angmo, gave a detailed presentation about the tourism sector in Ladakh along with the ongoing and future project works for the promotion of the tourism sector in the region.

The officials of the Ladakh Tourism department and stakeholders also participated in IATO Run For Sustainable Tourism during the convention

The department of Ladakh Tourism was also awarded the “Best Presentation” at the convention.

Chief Minister, Uttar Pradesh, Yogi Adityanath gave away the award which was received by Director, Ladakh Tourism, Kunzes Angmo.
