Secy Ravinder review progress on Changthang Development Package
Leh, June 17: Administrative Secretary, Animal/Sheep Husbandry, UT Ladakh, Ravinder Kumar chaired a meeting to review the progress of projects under the Changthang Development Package.
The Secretary was apprised by the officials regarding the progress of the projects being taken under the Changthang Development Package. The Secretary held a detailed discussion on the construction of nomadic museums at Sato Kargyam and Tangste, construction of the veterinary hospital, insulated houses for nomads of Changthang and pasture lands, indoor sports hall, etc.
The Secretary directed the concerned officers of the Finance department to release the funds at the earliest in order to achieve the targets in the stipulated time.

Secretary, Ravinder was appraised that the Construction of the nomadic museum at Tangste has already been started whereas the tender has been issued for Nyoma. Regarding the construction of the Veterinary hospital at Nyoma, he was informed that the work has already started, while at Durbuk the construction work is about to start within a week.
The Secretary directed the concerned officials to expedite the work and complete the remaining projects in the current financial year.
The meeting was attended by DFO, Leh; Director, Animal/Sheep Husbandry & Fisheries, Ladakh; Deputy Director, PD & MD, Ladakh; Chief Animal Husbandry Officer, Leh; Chief Horticulture Officer, Leh; District Sheep Husbandry Officer, Leh; Executive Engineer, PWD(R&B), LEH; Executive Engineer, CPWD, Ladakh; and District Youth Services & Sports Officer, Leh.
