KARGIL, NOVEMBER 11, 2021: Chairman District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) and Principal District and Sessions Judge Kargil  Mohammad Rafiq Chak today convened a meeting of the district officers to discuss preparations for the upcoming legal awareness camp to be organised by DLSA Kargil on November 13, 2021 at Indra Park Baroo. 

Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM) Kargil Tsewang Phuntsog, Munsif Sankoo Muneer Ahmad, Assistant Director Tourism Aga Syed Toha, Executive Officer Municipal Committee Kargil Shafaqat Ali Khan, SHO Kargil, representatives of Handicraft Department, Ladakh Cultural Academy, Information and Public Relations Department besides officers and officials of other departments attended the meeting. 

The Principal District and Sessions Judge Kargil informed on the occasion that the awareness camp is aimed to enlighten the public regarding legal aids and schemes in different departments, their target beneficiaries and procedure to avail the benefits. 

The Chairman DLSA Kargil instructed all the officers to establish their stalls and camps on the day of the event to impart awareness to the public regarding various schemes and benefits in their respective departments. 

The departments of Tourism, Labour, Social Welfare, Handicrafts, Municipal Committee, Health, Industries etc are expected to put up awareness stalls during the day-long camp.The Health Department will conduct COVID-19 vaccination camp.

It was informed during the meeting that on spot registration of beneficiaries for various schemes and benefits will also take place during the camp. 

Meanwhile, the public is requested to join the camp and get themselves aware about various government schemes and benefits in different departments.
