KARGIL, JULY 25, 2021: Border area villages in Batalik sector connected with Northern grid with the charging of newly constructed 11 KV line from Barche to Garkone village, tweeted LAHDC Kargil.

With the installation of the line, people of the area will get a 24×7 uninterrupted quality power supply.

Earlier the whole area from village Lalung to Darchiks was fed from three No of diesel generators.

On the occasion, Chairman and Chief Executive Councillor LAHDC Kargil Feroz Ahmad Khan congratulated the people of the region for getting 24 x 7 uninterrupted power supply.
