Kargil, August 17, 2026/ VOL News Desk/ Government Degree College (GDC) Kargil organised an interactive meeting at the College Seminar Hall, attended by Principal Dr. Amjat Ali Abassi , Sr. Prof. Dr ishaq and faculty members. The meeting focused on improving teaching and learning practices, adopting modern and innovative teaching methodologies, enhancing professional skills, and exploring effective ways to improve student admissions and the overall academic environment of the college.

Faculty members actively participated in the discussion and shared their views and suggestions on strengthening the quality of education and making teaching more responsive to the changing needs of students and society.

On the occasion, the college also bid farewell to Ms. Varsha Yadav, Department of Hindi, and Dr. Imtiyaz Ali Kharpa, Department of Sociology, who are leaving the institution after a valuable and memorable tenure. The Principal expressed his appreciation for their dedicated service and contributions to the college.

As a gesture of appreciation and goodwill, the Principal presented both faculty members with Khataks and Certificates of Appreciation, wishing them success and fulfilment in their future endeavours.
