Kargil, May 15, 2026/ VOL News Desk/ The Chief Executive Councillor (CEC), LAHDC Kargil, Dr Mohd Jaffer Akhoon today joined an awareness rally organised under Awami Andolan Nasha Ke Khilaf to campaign against drug abuse and other intoxicants. The rally was also attended by Member of Parliament, Ladakh Haji Hanifa Jan and the Deputy Commissioner, Kargil, Rakesh Kumar. 

A large number of people from different sections of society participated in the rally and raised strong slogans against the growing drug menace. The participants called for collective action to curb substance abuse and to spread awareness among the youth for building a healthy and drug-free society.
