Menamarg Police Facilitates Safe Passage of Ambulance Through Zojila Amid Heavy Snowfall
Amid heavy snowfall, Menamarg Police successfully facilitated the safe passage of an ambulance carrying a critical patient through Zojila Pass. The road was closed to general traffic due to adverse weather, highlighting the urgency and challenges of the situation.
Snowfall measurements recorded around 7 inches at Zojila and 5 inches at Menamarg, creating treacherous road conditions with slippery surfaces and reduced visibility. These factors made navigation extremely difficult for any vehicle.
Under the supervision of Sub-Inspector Fayad Ahmad, the police team efficiently managed traffic and provided essential assistance. Their prompt actions ensured the ambulance’s uninterrupted journey, demonstrating commitment to public safety in harsh conditions.
