Members of the Youth Action Committee Kargil Ladakh today paid a courtesy visit to the Chief Executive Councilor, LAHDC Kargil, at the Council Secretariat Kargil.
During the meeting, the committee members strongly urged the revocation of parking fees at District Hospital Kargil.

The demand is driven by the concern that the parking fee imposes an additional financial burden on poor patients and attendants who visit the hospital, often in emergency situations. The committee emphasized that the majority of patients visiting the hospital belong to economically disadvantaged backgrounds, and the parking fee exacerbates their hardship.

The Youth Action Committee Kargil Ladakh believes that the revocation of parking fees would significantly ease the burden on these patients and their families, ensuring that they can focus on receiving medical care without the added stress of parking charges.

The committee hopes that the Hon’ble Chief Executive Councilor LAHDC Kargil will consider their demand and take necessary steps to waive off the parking fee, thereby demonstrating its commitment to the welfare of the people of Kargil.
