The Ladakh Rural Livelihood Mission (LRLM) has inaugurated an LRLM SHG Kiosk at Kushok Bakula Rinpoche (KBR) Airport in Leh. This initiative, a collaboration with the Social Welfare Department and Legal Service Authority Ladakh, aims to empower local Self-Help Groups (SHGs) by providing a market platform for their products. The kiosk serves as a sales outlet, enhancing the visibility of local crafts and supporting the economic empowerment of rural women. Strategically located at the airport, a major tourist hub, the kiosk is expected to boost the local economy and generate income for SHG members.
