CEC Leh convenes meeting for recruitment of Physical Education Teachers
Leh, May 13: The Hon’ble Chairman/CEC, LAHDC Leh convened a meeting today to deliberate on the recruitment of Physical Education Teachers (PETs) across schools in the district, in the presence of Administrative Secretary, Sh. Vikram Singh Malik, IAS.
Also present during the meeting were Additional Secretary, GAD, Rigzin Spalgon (JKAS);OSD to Sports Secretary, Dr. Stanzin Thakchos; District Youth Services & Sports Officer, Tsering Tashi. Joint Director, Youth Services and Sports, Tahir Hussain Zubdavi and Director School Education Tsering Paldan, joined the meeting virtually.
The officials held a detailed discussion on the shortage of Physical Education Teachers in schools and explored suitable measures to address the issue. In this regard, the possibility of amending the existing Recruitment Rules (RRs) for PETs was discussed. The proposed amendments aim to establish a more inclusive and practical recruitment process.
