Leh, March 04: A delegation led by Adv. Tashi Gyalson, Chairman/CEC LAHDC Leh, met with Union Minister for Minority Affairs, Shri Kiren Rijiju Ji, to discuss the Bodhgaya Temple Management Act issue.

The delegation included esteemed members such as Dy. Chairman, LAHDC Leh Tsering Angchuk, Ladakh Buddhist Association (LBA) Senior Vice President Sh. Rigzen Dorjay, Ven. Deldan Namgyal General Secretary Ladakh Gonpa Association (LGA) and BJP Senior Leader Tashi Gyalson Khachu.

The LBA and LGA presented a memorandum to the Minister, seeking his intervention in reforming the outdated BTMC Act or potentially repealing it.

The Minister assured the delegation that he would look into the matter, despite it being under the State Government’s purview.
