Leh, February 27: Following the directives of Advocate Tashi Gyalson, Chairman of the Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council (LAHDC) Leh, and the approval of the Deputy Commissioner of Leh, the winter holidays in all government and private educational institutions have been extended until March 15, 2025.

This decision was made in light of the recent heavy snowfall, harsh weather conditions, and their impact on educational activities. Earlier, the Chairman of the Hill Council Kargil had also announced a similar extension of winter holidays due to comparable weather conditions.

This measure has been taken to facilitate students and teachers, ensuring that educational activities are not disrupted.
