Kargil, Dec 05, 2024: World Soil Day was celebrated today at KVK, Kargil-I, with participation from more than 50 farm women.The event commenced with a welcome adress by Dr. Mansoor Hussain, Scientist (Agricultural Economics).The main lecture on soil management was delivered by Dr. Nazir Hussain, Scientist (Agronomy).The program concluded with remarks from Senior Scientist and Head of KVK, Dr. Nassreen F. Kacho, who emphasized the importance of using biofertilizers. Biofertilizers, including Trichoderma, were also distributed to the farmers.
