Three schools selected from Ladakh to participate in RBVP 2024
VoL Desk, Nov. 23: Three schools from Ladakh have been selected among 185 total schools from all over the country for participation in 51 Rashtriya Bal Vaigyanik Pradarshani (RBVP) 2024. The three schools selected from Ladakh are PM Shri Govt. Model High School, Lankore, Kargil with the theme Skarchung – An Automatic Life Saviour, PM Shri Government High School, Minjee, Kargil with the theme Sustainable Agriculture for an Organic, Healthy and Prosperous Ladakh, and Imamiya Mission School, Chuchot Shamma, Leh woth the theme Menstrual Health and Hygiene. The RBVP is an annual exhibition that encourages scientific curiosity and innovation in school students.The National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) in New Delhi decides the themes and sub-themes for the exhibition.The exhibition has two levels: preliminary and final.The objectives of the exhibition are to provide a forum for children to pursue their creativity, innovation, and inventiveness. The exhibition also aims to make children feel that science and mathematics are all around them.
