MSME Ladakh organizes seminar on Vishwakarma Scheme in Kargil
Kargil, March 13: The Department of Micro and Small Unit Enterprises (MSME) UT Ladakh in collaboration with District Industries Centre, Kargil today organized a seminar on the Vishwakarma Scheme at Auditorium Hall, Kargil.
ADC Kargil, Suhail Ahmed advised the beneficiaries and concerned stakeholders to take maximum benefits from the scheme to uplift the socio-economic status of the beneficiaries.
The ADC said the Rural Development Department has a huge role to play in the success of the scheme besides that he asked the concerned departments to deliver coordinated efforts.

Joint Director, MSME, G. Velledru gave a detailed presentation on different aspects of MSME. He also talked about the benefits of the scheme and the training provided to upgrade the skills of artisans. He added that the scheme offers holistic end-to-end supply to the Vishwakarma to uplift their socio-economic status.
General Manager, DIC, Rehmatullah Bhat thanked the concerned departments and beneficiaries for joining the event. He expressed his satisfaction that Kargil is leading the UT in the concerned scheme and expressed optimism that it will continue to progress further in the future.
