CHC Sankoo and PHC Shargole Awarded State Certificate by National Health Mission

Vol Desk, Jan 14: The National Health Mission, UT Ladakh, has awarded several health institutions for their best performance during the fiscal year 2023-24. The recognized centers include the Community Health Centre in Khaltse, the Community Health Centre in Sankoo, the AAM Primary Health Centre in Shargol, and the AAM SC Rambirpur.

These institutions were presented with State certificates by the National Health Mission under the National Quality Assurance Standards (NQAS) programme. The evaluation for the state certification was carried out at the state level by the State Quality Assurance Committee, following the NQAS guidelines and criteria.

The awarded state certification acknowledges the compliance with standard protocols, emphasis on patient safety, and the delivery of high-quality care, among other criteria. Additionally, the certified institutions are entitled to receive financial incentives in accordance with the norms established by the National Health Mission for the financial year 2023-24, as approved in the PIP-2023-24.

In light of this recognition, Chairman/Chief Executive Councillor, Kargil extends heartfelt congratulations to the BMOs (Block Medical Officers) of the CHC Sankoo and the PHC Shargole for their commendable contributions to healthcare.
