Kargil Dec 29: Director Tourism, Ladakh, Kunzes Angmo inspected various sites, including the Director’s Residential Quarter, Tourist Felicitation Center Kargil, Aero Base Station, Kargil and the development of riverfront from Bulbul Bagh to Sher Bagh.

During her visit to TFC Kargil, the director was briefed on the ongoing progress, with the construction of 20 rooms, including 4 VIP suites, in the TFC building.

She directed to ensure proper maintenance, incorporating CCTV provisions and winter-friendly amenities. Emphasizing the importance of quality work, the Director instructed the executing agency, Tourism Development Authority, to uphold high standards.

Kunzes Angmo sought assurance from the concerned authorities regarding the approved and allocated budget ensuring transparency in financial matters.

Director also explored the Light & Sound Show area and assessed the ongoing development of the riverfront from Bulbul Bagh to Sher Bagh. Assistant Director Tourism, Accounts Officer to Director Tourism, Exen, Tourism Development Authority Kargil, Junior Engineers and other concerned officers accompanied the Director Tourism during the visit.
