Leh, Dec. 28: Commissioner Secretary of Tourism, UT Ladakh Kacho Mehboob Ali Khan chaired a meeting to review and elevate the status of the Ladakh Tourism website to enhance the accessibility of Ladakh’s tourism sector, at the Civil Secretariat, Leh.
The meeting commenced with a comprehensive presentation by the Project Management Unit (PMU) offering a detailed overview of the Ladakh Tourism website. The presentation highlighted the user-friendly interface, complete with well-organized tabs containing important information about Ladakh’s attractions, festivals, and other essential details.
The PMU’s presentation outlined the website’s structure, emphasizing its potential to serve as an invaluable resource for tourists seeking comprehensive information about Ladakh. The website’s design incorporates distinct tabs dedicated to different facets of Ladakh Tourism, ensuring that visitors can easily access pertinent information, including details about prominent sites, cultural festivals, and local attractions.

The Commissioner Secretary Kacho Mehboob Ali Khan expressed his satisfaction with the progress made so far and underscored the importance of collaboration between various departments to populate the website with detailed and accurate information. During the meeting, the respective departments were tasked with providing comprehensive details on their areas of expertise, such as historical sites, adventure tourism spots, cultural festivals, and other attractions.

The collaborative effort aims to enrich the Ladakh Tourism website, presenting an extensive and accurate repository of information for both domestic and international tourists.
