Leh, Dec, 05: To facilitate a smooth celebration of the upcoming Loser Festival, a meeting was convened by Tehsildar Diskit, Tufail Iqbal today at the Sub-Division headquarters Diskit.

During the meeting, comprehensive directives were issued to the concerned departments to ensure the provision of essential commodities and services to the public partaking in the festive celebrations.

One of the key decisions made during the meeting was the allocation of essential commodities. The concerned department has been instructed to supply 5 kilograms of sugar/ration to enhance their festive preparations.

Additionally, the authorities have been directed to provide uninterrupted electricity as per the prescribed provisions.

The meeting also addressed the need for adequate drinking water facilities, through Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM) and drinking water tankers.

Recognizing the importance of health services during the celebrations, the officials have been directed to arrange proper medical facilities. Besides, the availability of Juniper (Shukpa) was also highlighted.

Tehsildar Diskit, Tufail Iqbal expressed optimism regarding the preparations and emphasized the importance of community spirit in ensuring the success of such festivities. He urged all officers and departments to work cohesively to make the Losar Festival a memorable and joyous occasion for everyone in the Sub-Division.
