Kargil, Dec 05: Executive Councilor, RD&PRD, Forest/Wildlife , Cooperative, CAPD and Zanskar Development, LAHDC, Kargil, Er Punchok Tashi today convened a meeting with Principal GMDC Zanskar and Consultant at Council Secretariat, Kargil.

Mohd Isaq Principal GDC Zanskar briefed about the pending project of Govt Degree College Zanskar and sought intervention of the Executive Councilor to expedite framing of DPR and other pending issues.

Khadim Architect Northern Eco Earth Design Solution Kargil has intimated that the DPR of Landscaping/Ampi theater and other related works is in completion stage which has been approved under SDP at a cost of Rs 8.56 cr by Higher Education Department.

It was also informed by Principal GDC Zanskar that all the construction work such as Indoor Stadium, Girls Hostel, Boys Hostel, Laboratory Block, Gazette and non-Gazetted Quarter are going on in full swing.

EC Tashi appreciated the staff of GDC Zanskar and executing agencies for the progress in both academic and infrastructure made till date.

Er Tashi directed the consultant to submit the pending DPR within a week and also advise Executive Engineer R&B to achieve financial/physical target in current financial year. During the meeting, various suggestions and views were put forth by the concerned officials.
