Kargil, Nov 22, 2023: Executive Councilor, RD&PRD, Forest/wildlife, Cooperative and CAPD LAHDC Kargil, Er Punchok Tashi today convened an introductory meeting with officers of Cooperative, Wildlife and FCS&CA at Council Secretariat, Kargil.

Abid Hussain Wildlife warden, Dr Zakir Hussain DRC Kargil and Usman AD Food attended the meeting.

At the beginning of the meeting all the Sectoral head briefed the EC about the various activities being implemented under various heads.EC Tashi directed all the Sectoral head to work sincerely and dedicatedly so as to deliver public service timely and judiciously.

EC Tashi emphasized to focus on beneficiary-oriented schemes and urged officers to work with dedication in consultation with respective Councilors and PRI members. He also directed the concerned officials to complete the work before the working season and encourage maximum expenditure.

Dr Zakir DRC Kargil informed  that the Cooperative Department has already stocked all kinds of groceries in different Cooperative stores in the District besides fertilizer has also been stocked for distribution among the farmers and as usual fresh vegetable shall also be made available for the people during winter period.

Wild life warden Kargil informed that all the kind of wildlife conflict is being mitigated and their compensation is also resolved time to time.

Assistant Director FCS&CA informed that Ration to snow bound area in Drass, Zanskar and other area of Kargil has been stocked to last till April 2024. The officers briefed the chair about the financial/physical achievements in the current financial year.
