Kargil Nov.17: Army Goodwill School Faroona Kargil, Ladakh now a days on 15 days National Integration tour which is organized by 206 Sata Battery unit Khumbuthang under the banner of 08 Mountain DIV Khumbuthang.

Commencing from Khumbuthang, the tour has encompassed prominent destinations including Srinagar, Jammu, Chandigarh, Delhi, and Agra, fostering interactions aimed at promoting unity and harmony among diverse cultures.

During a momentous occasion on November 14, 2023, 25 students accompanied by three teachers, four Army staff members, and an Army Officer had the privilege of meeting the President of India, Shri Droupadi Murmu, at the Rastrapati Bhawan in New Delhi.

The event commenced with a warm welcome speech delivered by Major Himalaya, followed by insightful accounts shared by two students from Army Goodwill School Faroona, Archo Hakima and Nissar Ali. Their narratives highlighted the invaluable experiences gained throughout the tour, expressing heartfelt gratitude to the Indian Army for orchestrating such a transformative initiative.
