Kargil,August 24: The Imam Khomeini Memorial Trust (IKMT) Kargil, on behalf of the people of Kargil, extends its heartfelt congratulations to the nation on India’s remarkable achievement of being the first country to reach the South Pole of the moon with the triumphant Chandrayaan-3 mission.

This accomplishment stands as a significant milestone and a source of pride for every citizen of India. We also wish to extend our congratulations to ISRO, the dedicated scientists, engineers, and technicians who tirelessly contributed to the mission, resulting in this monumental success.

From now, India has become the fourth country to successfully land on the Moon, and the first to do so near the lunar south pole.
