Kargil, August,23: AL-REZA HC & RF, the Health wing of Jamait Ul Ulema Isna Ashriya Kargil successfully conducted three days Multi Super-Specialty Gynecology & Knee Replacement camp at Kargil. The camp was organized by AL-REZA HC & RF in Collaboration with Department of Health Kargil.

The Camp was inaugurated on Sunday at District Hospital Kurbathang by Renowned Knee Replacement Surgeon from Dubai , Dr Badar Azam Khan and Renowned Gynecologist from Dubai, Dr Usha Kiran in presence of Chief Medical Officer Kargil Dr Munawwar Hussain Wazir and Medical Superintendent; Dr Liaqat Ali Khan.

Internationally Renowned Gynecologist from Prime Hospital Dubai, Doctor Usha Kiran, Gold Medalist, Expert Scar less Surgeon ( V NOTES) and Dr Badar Azam Khan, famously known as Dr Knee , one of the finest Joint Replacement Surgeon of Dubai  along with their team attended the camp. Dr Manmohan, anesthetist and Dr Anjana, gynecologist, from Medwin Multispecialty Hospital Varanasi also attended the Health camp and Surgical workshop.

On the first day of the camp around 360 patients were examined by the team, in OPD, during which 10 major complicated Gynecological cases were selected for surgery. Surgeries performed on 2nd and 3rd days of the camp includes Vaginal Hysterectomy, Abdominal Hysterectomy, Diagnostic laparoscopy and Tubal patency tests, Cystocele and Rectocele repair.

As per report 17 Knee Replacement surgeries (TKR) were performed in the camp by Dr Badar Azam Khan and his team. Surgical skills were also exchanged in Surgical workshop. High Skill anesthesia/ epidural anesthesia and high risk anesthesia were also given to these patients by anesthesia team in the camp headed by Dr Abass Ali and Dr Mohd Asif.

Patients appreciated the efforts of AL-REZA HC & RF for bringing Internationally renowned doctors at their doorstep in performing complex and complicated surgeries at Kargil.

President AJUIAK, Sheikh Nazir Mehdi Mohammadi thanked the visiting Doctors for sparing their precious schedule in Dubai and travelling such a long distance only to help and treat the patients of this far-flung region. He also thanked the District administration, CMO, Medical Superintendent and RMO District Hospital Kargil, for their tireless support. He appreciated the tireless efforts of Doctors in uplifting the District Hospital Kargil as a centre of excellence. He also appreciated the anesthetists’ and surgeons for doing surgeries till 11pm late night in these 3 days of the camp, besides O.T staffs and volunteers of AL-REZA.
