Leh, July 1: As a part of the Vibrant Village Programme, Union Minister for Heavy Industries Govt. of India, Dr.Mahendra Nath Pandey visited villages of Changthang. At Nyoma village, he paid a visit to Primary Health Ccntre, Greenhouse sites, and interacted with the public as well. He also met with the people of Rongo Village and Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM) site was inaugurated at Mudh village. 

Further, Golden cards were distributed to villagers during the interaction. Additionally, stalls were set up by the departments of Sheep husbandry, Animal husbandry, Medical center, Agriculture, Co-operative, and villagers of Mudh showcasing different local products such as spinning wheels, traditional weaving process, and textiles, etc. 

Executive Councillor, LAHDC Leh, Tashi Namgyal Yakzee; Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC), Leh, Sonam Chosjor; Councilor Nyoma, Ishey Spalzang, and SDM Nyoma, Jigmet Angchuk along with all the HODs were also present.
