VoL Desk, June 13: In a distressing incident, a vehicle with registration number JK07-1053, driven by Mehroon Nissa, daughter of Mohd Mussa and resident of Khandi Sankoo, met with an accident on Zamsthang Road.

The vehicle reportedly rolled down the road, resulting in injuries to the driver and another lady named Anjum, daughter of Akbar Ali and resident of Chankchik.

Upon receiving immediate assistance, both injured individuals were swiftly transferred to the New District Hospital in Khurbathang, Kargil for medical treatment. Furthermore, a police team also arrived at the DHK Khurbathang to investigate the incident.

According to preliminary reports, both the victims have been referred to a hospital in Srinagar for advanced medical treatment while one sustained critical injuries.
