Kargil/ Jan. 24: A delegation of Bharataya Janata Party Kargil unit led by Shri Haji Anayat Ali Former Chairman at J&K Legislative Council called upon Shri. Prahlad Singh Patel Minister of State (Independent Charge) of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism GOI.

On the occasion MP Ladakh UT and State President BJP Ladakh UT Jamyang Tsering Namgyal, Shri Haji Abdul Hussain President BJP Kargil, Executive Councilor at LAHDC-K and General Secretary BJP Kargil Mohd Ali Chandan, Mohd Ali Majaz State Vice President BJP Ladakh, Councilor Mohsin Ali, Nominated Councilor Leela Bano, Mohd Hussain Vice President BJYM Ladakh UT, Shamim Ahmed Mandal President Chiktan, Sadiq Ali Joint Secretary BJP Kargil, Khurshid Ahmed President BJYM Kargil, BDC Shargol and other Executive Members of BJP Kargil unit were present on the occasion.

BJP Kargil express their happiness on the visit and welcomed Prahlad Singh Patel on his madian visit to Kargil. BJP Kargil aslo put forth various Issues related to Tourism and Culture of Kargil and submit a memorandum.

Patel indulged in a long discussion with delegation of BJP Kargil unit on various issues related to tourism and culture of Kargil. At first he thanked  BJP Kargil for a warm welcome to homself. He also Congratulated the people of the region for the new identity as UT Ladakh under the BJP regime. On the issues put forth by the delegation, he said that for the development of newly formed UT Ladakh is on top priority under the PM Narendra Modi. Many new project for the promotion of Tourism and Culture of Kargil are in line in the coming days to hat people of Kargil will notice on the ground.
He further said that tourism is an asset in Kargil that will be promoted on large scale and the infrastructure will be developed to boost the economy of the region and generate employment to youth.He also said that the rich unique culture of Kargil will also be promoted on world level.
At last he said that for rest of the world Kargil was only war zone but now Kargil will know for its Rich cultural heritage and tourism.
