Lt. Governor Ladakh Instructs Police to Avoid Inconvenience to Public During VIP Movements
VoL Desk, March 20: Lt. Governor of Ladakh, Brig (Dr) BD Mishra, has instructed the police department of Ladakh to ensure that the general public is not inconvenienced due to VIP movements.
During a meeting with officials including the police department on March 18, the Lt. Governor said that traffic should not be stopped or regulated even for his own motorcade.
He emphasized that the use of sirens and blue lights should be as per the protocols established by the Supreme Court, and that the police should ensure that the public is not unnecessarily disturbed by the use of such measures.

The Lt. Governor’s instructions come as a relief to the public, who often face inconvenience and delays due to the movement of VIPs. The move is expected to improve the overall traffic situation in Ladakh and ensure smoother movement for the public.
