Five From Ladakh Including Two Brothers Injured in Ganderbal Road Accident

Ganderbal, July 31, KNT: Five persons from the Ladakh region, including two brothers and a 10-year-old boy, were injured after a Xylo vehicle crashed into an electric pole at Hain Kangan in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district on Friday.
Officials said the vehicle (JK10/5974) lost control and rammed into an electric pole, leaving all its occupants injured.

The injured were identified as driver Asghar Ali, son of Mohammad Hussain Ali, a resident of Kargil; Hussain Asqari, son of Ghulam Hussain, resident of Leh; brothers Junaid Iqbal and Liaqat Ali, sons of Ghulam Abbas, residents of Leh; and 10-year-old Mohammad Danish, son of Abdul Bari, also a resident of Leh.
All the injured were initially admitted to Sub-District Hospital Kangan. However, due to the severity of their injuries, they were referred to SKIMS Soura for specialized treatment.
Police have initiated proceedings to ascertain the cause of the accident. [KNT]
