AN-32 Kargil Courier Service Operates First Jammu Sortie of Winter Season
Kargil, February 12/ VOL News Desk/ The AN-32 Kargil Courier Service today operated its first Jammu sortie of the winter season between Kargil and Jammu.
At Jammu Airport, the Indian Air Force pilots and crew were warmly received by the Liaison Officer, Assistant Liaison Officers, and officials from the Airports Authority of India (AAI), CISF, Air India, and AIASL.
The service operated two sorties during the day, carrying a total of 128 passengers in both directions.

On the Kargil to Jammu sector, a total of 32 passengers, 18 in the first sortie and 14 in the second were airlifted. On the return leg, 53 in the first sortie and 43 in the second sortie traveled from Jammu to Kargil.
Passengers who availed the service expressed gratitude to the District Administration Kargil and the Indian Air Force for facilitating the much-needed air connectivity during the winter months. They stated that the operation of the Jammu sector has provided major relief, especially for patients, students, and urgent travelers.
