Syed Zahoor Qasim Library opens at Stakpa in a joint collaboration of Khawaja Ghulam-us-Saiyidain Library & All Students Union Stakpa
The Syed Zahoor Qasim Library, a joint collaboration of the Khawaja Ghulam-us-Saiyidain Library (KGSL) and the All Students Union Stakpa (ASUS), was inaugurated at Stakpa in the presence of students, elders, youth, and children of the village.
Chairman Imam Khomeini Memorial Trust, Kargil graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. Speaking on the occasion Sheikh Sadiq Rajayi emphasised that libraries play a foundational role in shaping thoughtful, informed, and responsible individuals. He appreciated the youth-led initiative behind the library and described it as an investment in the intellectual future of the community. He encouraged the Stakpa Community to support the students with all means possible so as to effectively run the library.
Guest of Honour Ali Rehmat Cho, ZEPO Sankoo also lauded the collaborative effort and encouraged students to make constructive use of the library.

Founding member Ali Asghar, speaking on the occasion, shared the journey behind the collaboration. He spoke about the importance of libraries and noted that reading should not be limited to examinations alone but must become a lifelong habit that nurtures critical and analytical thinking, curiosity, and moral awareness.
Members of KGSL and ASUS attended the programme along with people from all sections of Stakpa. The library is expected to serve as a shared space for learning and reflection, strengthening reading culture at the grassroots level.
