Massive Rally in Kargil Voices Solidarity with Iran’s Supreme Leader & Condemns US-Israel Policies
In Kargil, the Imam Khomeini Memorial Trust (IKMT) organized a grand rally and gathering after noon prayers to express unwavering support for the Islamic Republic of Iran, the system of Wilayat-e-Faqih, and Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. Thousands of participants, including men, women, scholars, and representatives from various social and religious groups, marched from Jamia Masjid through the main market to the Old Taxi Stand. They carried portraits of Khamenei and placards declaring solidarity with the Iranian people while condemning American and Israeli policies.
A separate women’s procession, organized by the Zinabiyah Women’s Welfare Society, started from Fatima Chowk and merged with the main rally. Throughout the event, protesters chanted slogans such as “Khamenei is another Khomeini,” “His guardianship is that of Haider,” “Abbas the standard-bearer protects Khamenei,” “The blood in our veins is a gift to our leader,” “We sacrifice our lives for the leader’s command,” “We sacrifice our lives for the Muslim nation,” along with anti-US and anti-Israel chants like “Death to America,” “Death to Israel,” “Death to Netanyahu,” and “Death to Donald Trump.” Symbolic coffins of US President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu were dragged at the start.
At the concluding assembly, Haji Asghar Ali Karbalai emphasized Kargil’s steadfast allegiance to the Islamic system, stating readiness for any sacrifice in its defense and highlighting Khamenei as a beacon of hope for the oppressed worldwide. He accused the US and Israel of instigating recent riots in Iran through agents, damaging mosques, Imam Bargahs, libraries, and public properties, warning that any threat to Iran endangers all holy sites.
Hujjatul Islam Sheikh Sadiq Rajai praised Khamenei’s political insight and courage, noting that enemy conspiracies have failed against his strategies. He expressed hope for soon handing over the Islamic system to Imam Mahdi (AJTF) and urged prayers for the leader’s and system’s safety. The event concluded peacefully with the burning of the symbolic effigies and coffins, as participants reaffirmed their commitment to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with Khamenei and the Islamic system.
