Five-Day Bhoti Training Programme Concludes at DIET, Leh
Leh, 31 December 2025/ VOL News Desk/ A Five-Day Bhoti Training Programme on newly framed Bhoti textbooks for Foundational and Primary Classes concluded successfully at the District Institute of Education and Training (DIET), Leh.
The programme aimed to orient teachers on Bho textbooks for Nursery, LKG, UKG, and Classes I & II in line with the National Curriculum Framework for Foundational Stage (NCF-FS) 2023. The Head of the Ins tute, Ms. Tsering Yangdol, informed that the textbooks are also available on the DIKSHA Portal as energized Bho textbooks of UT Ladakh.
The Principal, Mr. Mirza Mehdi, thanked the resource persons namely Ven Stanzin Norbu,Dr. Lotos Rabgais and Mr Tundup Namgail with traditional Khataks and assured continued support for Bho textbook development and training programmes. The training was attended by 91 teachers from Nubra, Durbuk, and Noma zones, aiming to strengthen mother tongue–based education in Government schools of UT Ladakh.
