Kargil, December 2025/ VOL News Desk/ The District Institute of Education & Training (DIET), Kargil, has announced the Class 8th Middle Standard Examination results for the academic session 2025, with students across the district demonstrating exceptional academic excellence at both district and zonal levels.

Yasmeen Fatima of PM Shri Government High School Minjee emerged as the district topper, securing the 1st position with an outstanding 95.9% marks. Zehra Batool of Government Girls Middle School Kargil clinched the 2nd position with 93.8%, while Basid Hussain of Pioneer Public School Panikhar and Fazlullah Najfi of Government Model High School Lankore jointly secured the 3rd position, both scoring 92.8%.

Remarkable performances were also witnessed across all educational zones of Kargil. Top rank holders from Sankoo, Tai-Suru, Shakar Chiktan, Shargole, Drass, and Zanskar zones brought pride to their respective schools and communities through their dedication and hard work.
