LSWSA organizes Freshers’ Meetup & General Election 2025–26

The Ladakh Students’ Welfare Society, Aligarh (LSWSA) successfully organized its much-awaited Freshers’ Meetup and General Election on 12th October 2025 at Hotel Gulmarg in Aligarh . The event witnessed an enthusiastic gathering of students from Ladakh, filled with excitement, motivation, and a sense of unity.
The program stared with recitation of holy verses and warm welcome to the new students from Ladakh, followed by inspiring speeches by senior members and alumni of the society. They shared insights on the importance of education, cultural identity, and collective growth of the Ladakhi student community in Aligarh.
The highlight of the day was the General Election for the Executive Body 2025–26, conducted in a free and transparent manner. Students from various regions of Ladakh actively participated in the democratic process.

The outgoing executive members reflected on their experiences and challenges faced during their tenure, encouraging the new team to continue the legacy of dedication and service.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Mohammad Reza followed by a group photo session capturing the unity and enthusiasm of the Ladakhi student community.
The newly elected team pledged to uphold the vision and ideals of LSWSA, working collectively for the welfare, unity, and academic excellence of Ladakhi students in Aligarh.
