139 Time-Bound, 7 Functional Promotions of Different Departments of Kargil cleared by DPC
Kargil, October 28/ VOL News Desk/ The Departmental Promotion Committee (DPC) of Kargil District met under the chairpersonship of the Deputy Commissioner/CEO, LAHDC- Kargil on 25.10.2025 and approved 139 Time-Bound Promotions (TBPs) and 7 Functional Promotions of officials working in various Departments against District- cadre posts. The meeting was attended by the Chief Controller Finance, LAHDC-Kargil, Chief Animal Husbandry Officer, Kargil, and Sectoral Heads of the respective concerned Departments.
The Time-Bound Promotions included 72 employees of the School Education Department, 39 employees of the Health & Medical Education Department, employees of the Public Works (R&B) Department, 08 employees of the Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs Department; 06 employees of the Rural Development Department, 02 employees of the Information Department and 01 employee each of the Youth Services & Sports Department, the Irrigation & Flood Control Department and the Social & Tribal Welfare Department. The Functional promotions included 07 officials of the Health Department & Medical Education Department.
The Deputy Commissioner instructed all Sectoral Heads to ensure that TBP and GPF cases are submitted in a timely manner for the welfare of employees, emphasizing that any delay will result in considerable loss to the concerned officials.
